Mikhela Bayes is a 2022 Master in International Affairs candidate at the Hertie School. Originally from Australia, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Queensland. Her research interests lie in the politics and history of group emotion and how this plays out both digitally and in policy.
